Morning milking’s done, parlor’s rinsed, and I’m looking at this Week 3 slate. Everyone's piling on Seattle at home against the Saints. Chalky as a salt lick.
Well. Making cheese isn't about finding magic milk. I get the same stuff every morning. The art is knowing what to do with it. Fresh chevre? Needs soft hands and cool temps. Aged cheddar? Press it, salt it, wait. Same milk, different intention, different outcome.
Seattle isn't the finest ingredient. The EV is ugly because the field's heavy. But just like milk, sometimes it's not about what you start with, it’s about how you handle it. Do the work, set your curd right, and that batch still turns out solid.
In Survivor, that means knowing when to grab the safe wheel and let it rest. You don’t force cheddar to act like chevre, and you don’t force Week 3 to be your masterpiece. You set your rind now so the cave has something to build on later.
So yeah I'm going with the crowd. Seattle doesn't show much future value on the map, and the Saints haven’t looked right even in their losses, though I don’t weigh that too heavy.More important, I’m saving the better teams like a chipmunk tucking acorns. Seattle feel like it’s the right dose at the right time. The herd might all be in the same lane, but intention makes the difference between pig food and a wheel that lasts the season. And I'm looking on the horizon.
Back to the barn. These goats don’t care if I’ve got chalk or contrarian in the pot.
