Week 9 brought relief, by and large, as the LA teams delivered for most Circa Survivor players. The Rams' dominant performance kept 1,328 entries (~65%) alive, while the Chargers' more hard-fought win over the Titans brought another 399 entries (~19%) over the line. These two games alone resulted in over 84% of the remaining Circa 1K field advancing safely into Week 10.
The most notable damage of Week 9 came when Green Bay gave up a win to the Panthers in a surprising upset that eliminated 264 entries. Carolina put in RB Rico Dowdle this week, and his performance combined with the Packers' discombobulated offense pretty much sealed the deal. The Grandissimo contest saw 2 entries go down on the Packers, leaving 11 players left to stare down that $6.9 million prize pool.
Tonight's Cardinals-Cowboys matchup will close out Week 9. Only 8 Circa 1K entries hang in the balance on Dallas, however, savvy players will be watching to gauge Dallas' form and consider how they might figure into the holiday schedule.
We'll discuss it all tomorrow on Game Winning Drive.
